tuEagles' Anti-Porn Filter is an excellent program with several tools to control your family's Internet surfing.

The anti-porn feature blocks surfing with a database with listings of thousands of sites inappropriate for children. Regular updates keep the list current. You can also define site content and offensive words for additional filtering capability. The program scans every site you try to visit to make sure it does not contain offensive material so it will recognize new inappropriate sites the first time it sees them.

The chat filter allows you to control what chat software your young surfer can install and use, and what chat 'rooms' they can visit. Setting the options allows you to define additional restrictions.

The Anti-Porn Filter program also allows you to limit Internet access by day and time. You can determine when your kids can go online - and how long they can spend. There's a separate option that allows you to specify what games your kids can play, and for how long. And, you can lock the screen for a set period on your schedule to force your kids to take a break. All of this runs automatically so you can limit the kids even when you're not home.

Anti-porn keeps a complete log of the computer's history. You can check up to see what sites your children have tried to visit. Even if Anti-porn successfully blocked access to an inappropriate site, you can see when your kids tried to access it. The program also allows you to take an inventory of the computer - check up on all the pictures, movies, music files and web sites your child has visited. Review the history log regularly - you'll see you get your money's worth protecting your kids form sites they shouldn't see. Hopefully, you won't also find that it is time for a talk with your kids.

Anti-porn is very easy to download and install - you'll be blocking inappropriate sites within minutes. The control panel to set options for blocking and logging is password protected so the settings stay the way you set them. Anti-porn allows you to show an icon in the system tray (lower right by the clock) for easy access to the menu. Or you can hide the icon allowing you to hide the program from your kids letting you check up on where they've been without them knowing.

The program is easy to use, the controls are very intuitive. There's a good help manual included. Be warned that the author of the program and documentation isn't a native English speaker. This won't be a problem for most users, but you may occasionally scratch your head at instructions like: "After the successful installation of the Anti-Porn,it will auto run when operation system start."

Overall rating: a good value for the money. Easy to use, but the English translation has a few rough edges. Does the job blocking access to inappropriate sites.
